The Economic Development
Advisory Board (EDAB)is a group of business professionals appointed
by the Grand Island Town Board who volunteer their time toward improving
Grand Island's business climate. The EDAB has developed an agenda of
Economic Development projects focused toward the overall objectives
of assisting existing Grand Island businesses to prosper and attracting
new businesses to the Island.
The EDAB recognizes that
the future economic success of Grand Island lies in maintaining a pro-business
climate that attracts companies to our community. To assist new businesses
that may be considering Grand Island, we have developed a number of
resources and information. Many of these are displayed on this website.
Through the website, the EDAB is providing information on the properties,
zoning, and the many resources of Grand Island. However, we believe
that the best way to provide specific assistance and information to
companies is through personal contact. For this reason, the EDAB stands
ready to offer personalized assistance to all companies who are looking
for information or who may need help in understanding Town regulations,
zoning, or environmental considerations. Please contact the EDAB at
the number or e-mail address shown below to start the process of learning
more about our community.
One of the important programs
of the EDAB is to work closely with regional Economic Development organizations
and communities. We can assist in directing companies to the appropriate
contacts not only at the Town of Grand Island, but also in the Buffalo
/ Niagara region who can help with information, financial assistance
and other programs.
Thanks for your interest
