KidBiz
The KidBiz Young Entrepreneur Program teaches students in 2nd through 8th grades what it takes to run a business. Kids come up with ideas for a product to market, then sell in-person and even sign a loan agreement with their parents to cover startup costs.

About the event
The Grand Island Chamber of Commerce has planned and organized the KidBiz Young Entrepreneur Program for the last 27 years. Annually, we have anywhere from 125-175 students who have a blast participating in the program. This is a wonderful opportunity for business leaders in our community to set a great example for our future business owners and provide some guidance & support to these budding entrepreneurs.
Participant Registration & Set Up: 8am-9:45am
Requirements: Complete and submit one online registration form (includes payment) for each participant & attend one of the four available KidBiz parent/guardian training sessions (mandatory) named “Get Ready for KidBiz”. Dates, times and locations for those sessions are:
Session 1 – Tuesday 5/27 from 7-8pm – Middle School Little Theatre
Session 2 – Thursday 5/29 from 7-8pm – Middle School Little Theatre
Session 3 – Sunday 6/1 from 1-2pm – GI Chamber of Commerce Conference Room (2680 GI Blvd, Suite 10)
Session 4 – Wednesday 6/4 from 7pm-8pm – Middle School Little Theatre
